Menopause and perimenopause are a serious subject - but I think humor helps! I have laughed at myself, and my family has laughed with me and not at me when I have had certain symptoms. You can listen to my personal and very open account of what I have been going through, and how I’ve seen humor in even the most serious symptoms. I hope if nothing else besides getting the information will make you smile.

Knowing that you're not going crazy or blowing things out of proportion can be a huge relief. However, a diagnosis can also lead to feelings of isolation and discouragement - especially when you’re faced with treatment options that seem extreme. But don't despair - you aren't alone.

King has, for half a century, been a master of the form, and these stories, about fate, mortality, luck, and the folds in reality where anything can happen, are as rich and riveting as his novels, both weighty in theme and a huge pleasure to digest.

A beautiful gift for women of all ages
The author commences the audiobook with an interesting story that took me back to those uncertain early years and I suddenly realized that my ignorance back then was not uncommon. The information is more accessible now and this book is a great resource in this regard.
Although the book also covers menopause I feel it is a beautiful gift for girls. The information contained is knowledge that is applicable from childhood to middle age and useful to people of both genders, especially if they aspire to engage in family life. In this regard, it is a wonderful addition to bookshelves across the globe.

Understanding Her!
As a man with a loving partner, I embarked on an eye-opening journey into the world of women's health through this book. It explains about two important parts of a woman's life: periods and menopause. It's easy to understand and helped me learn a lot.
I liked that the audiobook didn't just talk about the physical stuff related to menopause but also about how women feel. It gave good advice about how partners can help each other during this time. This book made things clear, and Kate Raymond's reading made it even easier to understand. For guys like me who want to know more about women's health, this book is really helpful.

Necessary Listening For Every Woman!
In this beautifully produced audiobook, Bernice Pond demystifies the menstrual cycle for women and offers expert insider knowledge on how to manage it, as well as menopause.
What sets this book apart is the passion and warmth of the author as well as her expertise and accessible language - she illustrates step by step what a period is, what PMT is, how to identify and treat common issues, why menopause happens, how to deals with it, and how to enhance your physical and emotional well being throughout. Instead of blindly suffering through these things, Bernice offers a "cheat code" for women to understand them and respond accordingly. Necessary listening for every woman!

Informative !
An informative guide to understanding both the menstrual cycle and menopause. This audiobook comes with two great additions. Firstly, Periods....Just Why? allows readers to understand the complexities and the effects of hormones during menstruation. This audiobook offers some enlightening information about what happens to the body when it experiences PMT, advice on identifying abnormal periods and information on menstrual care and products to make them more comfortable. The second half, Cracking the Menopause Code, is a comprehensive guide to understanding all the stages of menopause both physically and mentally. It offers readers a great insight into the three key hormones and the huge impact they have on our bodies, as well as questions they should ask their doctor about.
Overall, this audiobook is a great resource for those wanting to gain an understanding of their own menstrual cycle and menopause. It provides readers with comprehensive information to allow them to make informed decisions about their health.
