Resumen del Editor

Occult Feminism: The Secret History of Women's Liberation dives deep into the occult roots of the movement, detailing the lives of some of its most prominent figures and the esoteric beliefs that inspired and motivated them. Since the 1970s, everything we learn about the history of the women's movement has been subject to gatekeeping by radicals who run women's studies departments in universities. But there's an entire history that has been obscured from public view. Rachel Wilson brings this history to life, filled with incredible true stories of demon worship, spirit mediums, magic mushrooms, witchcraft, CIA spies, and sex cults--there's nothing boring about the real history of feminism, and it's all here.

In modern society, it is simply assumed that women’s liberation was a good thing. But what if it was never an organic, grassroots movement for social justice? Did feminism liberate women from an oppressive, evil patriarchy? Or did it rip away the fundamental structures that afforded them stability, security, and purpose, turning them into wage slaves for corporations and tax revenue cash cows for governments? What if feminism left women more vulnerable than ever by destroying the family? What if it's a cunning deception that has tricked women into abandoning their God-given identity to serve a new world order and one of the oldest belief systems in the world?

People deserve to know the whole story about the biggest social revolution of all time. A revolution that left no aspect of modern life unaffected and claims to be for the good of women everywhere. This must-listen book goes beyond the propaganda to deliver the fascinating truth.

Must Have Background and Information

So much of the history on this topic is just flat-out lies. Wilson does and excellent job bringing actual history to light and connecting it to the dismal circumstances of our day.

While I appreciate that Wilson is a devout convert to Eastern Orthodoxy, she blunts her point abou feminism unnecessarily by trying to make Protestantism and Roman Catholicism the root of Evil. The REAL expression of the faith she is so devoted to knows that Sin in the hearts of Men - including those within Easterm Orthodoxy - is the real problem. Her theologically incongruousl diversion into the weakest of Eastern Orthodox apologetics significantly blunts her argumentation; perhaps providing validation her main thesis that she maybe needed some editing and guidance from a man to engage in (cultural) combat.

Nevertheless, absolutely a must-read in a factually, idiologically, philosophically, and historically illiterate world.

Eye popping book!

It is really crazy to find out the real backgrounds and motivations of feminist’s historical champions and their elite backers. The horrifying state of society today makes more sense now. The author did outstanding job in bringing the to light!

Too short

I understand the author's intention was to write about a specific aspect of feminism, but there so many twists and bends to the story of early feminism which I wish she would have explored more fully. Still a great read nonetheless. I wish Rachel Wilson success in her future endeavors.

great book

amazing book, bought after seeing an interview. I am an Orthodox Muslim convert living in the US, and my own community here has bought into progressivism and feminism. there has been a full court press in university to convert Muslims to secular ideologies. thankfully the immigrant community still stands for something. at least 4 of my friends have bought copies since I started singing it's praises. hopefully this information will make it's way into many hands.

you should have read it yourself, not a fan of the narrator

Must read

I already knew some of this before reading this book. The author researched this topic well and offered a deep understanding of the subject far beyond what I had previously known. I agree with the term Faustian bargain. It always perplexes me that what was proclaimed to give women a choice has actually reduced choices for women who want to live more traditionally. A have seen polls that say 56% of working moms want to stay home with their kids. Why can’t they if feminism was about choices then they would simply stay home. Is it about choices? Was it ever about choices? Or was it always a push to only give women the opportunity and no other choice to work outside the home whether she likes it or not, Whether it was physically and mentally draining on her. Does it even care about what is best for women in general? The individual woman? Read this book and you will find some of those answers.

Excellent book but the narration sounded like AI

Loved the book but the narration sounded like a boy with frequent mispronunciations and inhuman intonations.

Interesting

Many obscure view points that dove tail into issues with modern media. note: author likes sound bite style quotes which are low context.
