Resumen del Editor
Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis loved literature, especially poetry. "Once you can express yourself," she wrote, "you can tell the world what you want from it.... All the changes in the world, for good or evil, were first brought about by words." Now Caroline Kennedy shares her mother's favorite poems and the inspiration behind her strong belief in the power of literature.
The poems presented span centuries and include works by such renowned authors as Langston Hughes, William Shakespeare, Homer, W. B. Yeats, Emily Dickinson, E. E. Cummings, and Robert Frost. This volume also includes poems by Jacqueline Kennedy, illuminated by Caroline's reflections on her mother's life and work. A wonderful volume for listening to together or by yourself, this book offers an intimate view of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis' world and a poignant glimpse into her heart.
This audiobook includes a special reading by Senator Edward M. Kennedy and Robert Frost reading "The Gift Outright" at the inauguration of President John F. Kennedy, January 20, 1961.
Full list of narrators includes Daniel Davis, Byron Jennings, and Jennifer Wiltsie.

Historia
The 13 chapters of The Art of War, each devoted to one aspect of warfare, were compiled by the high-ranking Chinese military general, strategist, and philosopher Sun-Tzu. In spite of its battlefield specificity, The Art of War has found new life in the modern age, with leaders in fields as wide and far-reaching as world politics, human psychology, and corporate strategy finding valuable insight in its timeworn words.

Historia
It’s the summer of ’77 in New York City, and the only thing more unnerving than the scorching heatwave is the rampant murder, leaving washed-up homicide detective Richard Dietrich on edge. When Dietrich investigates a brutal mob hit the brass doesn’t want him to solve, he goes from phoning it in to getting in over his head. Caught up in a mysterious second homicide with an even more perplexing perpetrator, Dietrich starts to second guess his instincts—and his memory—as he searches for answers at the bottom of a bottle.

Reading Anew
What made the experience of listening to The Best Loved Poems of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis the most enjoyable?
Hearing the introduction read by Caroline Kennedy and hearing the poem read aloud was most enjoyable indeed. I've read these poems many, many times since I bought the book in 2001 but hearing them read aloud was like reading them anew.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Best Loved Poems of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis?
Hearing "Sherwood."
Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Robert Frost's reading of "The Gift Outright."
Any additional comments?
It is wonderful to hear Edward Kennedy's reading of "Paul Revere's Ride."
