Publisher's summary

Award-winning actress Drew Barrymore shares funny, insightful, and profound stories from her past and present told from the place of happiness she's achieved today.

Wildflower is a portrait of Drew's life in stories as she looks back on the adventures, challenges, and incredible experiences of her earlier years. It includes tales of living on her own at 14 (and how laundry may have saved her life), getting stuck in a gas station overhang on a cross-country road trip, saying good-bye to her father in a way only he could have understood, and many more adventures and lessons that have led her to the successful, happy, and healthy place she is today. It is the first book Drew has written about her life since the age of 14.

Love love love this book

I loved this book so much! I totally related with Drew through her experience in life and my emotions were completely in sink with they way she read the book. This book lifted me up in so many ways. It's a book I think I would buy just to have it in my house as a reminder of how I felt while listing to the audio version. I love love loved it. It makes me want to be a better person and it makes me feel like I can do anything. Love the the book and love Drew.

Drew Is Gentle As A Flower

Would you consider the audio edition of Wildflower to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version but listening to Drew's voice is more fun than reading it on a page.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked how honest she was about her life and struggles and how far she's come, and how she has found happiness.

What about Drew Barrymore’s performance did you like?

She has such an honest and nice voice to listen to, and I like when she starts talking faster and really gets into the performance of whatever story she is telling.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was actually easy to start and stop as needed and pick up from where I left off.

Any additional comments?

I would skip through and listen to sections again, it was entertaining and interesting to hear about Drew's life.

Great read!

I love Drew and i loved listening to her stories. My favorite part was when she spoke of when she became a mom. And how her life changed and her view of the world began to shift. As a mom of 3, her words spoke to me. Her storytelling is so pure and honest. She is so relatable.

Wildflower

This was a really good autobiography of Drew Barrymore. She opened up to talk about her life. I laughed and was sad for some of it. It really touched my heart of how she grew up so young and on her own. I am grateful and feel blessed that Hod always meets us half way!
You must Get this! It is one of the best Audibles O have ever listened too.

The sweetest book... Loved every minute of it!

I loved all the stories from start to finish! After a few chapters I wondered why she didn't give a more detailed account of her childhood, then wondered the same about her teen years. But by the end I got it, and it all made sense & I realized she gave just enough story from birth to present day. Brilliant, sweet, beautiful story! I love Drew Barrymore even more after reading this very honest story of her world!
