Publisher's summary

I’m a Gemini. Impulsive. Curious. Headstrong. A twin. Heir to a throne I know nothing about. And it turns out, I’m Fae. But of course, there’s a catch - all I have to do to claim my birthright is prove that I’m the most powerful supernatural in the whole of Solaria. And sure, technically that’s true, as I’m the daughter of the Savage King. But the bit they didn’t put in the brochure was that every single Fae in this Kingdom would claim my throne if they could.

The school they’ve sent me to is both dangerous as sh*t and one helluva party. Vampires bite weaker students in the corridors, the Werewolf pack has orgies in the Wailing Wood at every full moon, and don’t even get me started on the dark and twisted ways the Sirens use their powers on people’s emotions, or how my sinfully tempting Cardinal Magic teacher hosts detentions that leave people needing therapy. Classes are totally interesting if you manage to live through them. And that Gemini star sign I mentioned? It now determines my elemental magic and affects my destiny, so learning astrology is essential if I’m going to beat down my classmates - which is actively encouraged, by the way.

My biggest problem is the droolworthy Dragon shifter who has his eyes on my throne. He and his three psycho friends are determined to make my time here hell. All I’ve got to do is survive. But fate might have other ideas. Dammit, why couldn’t I have gotten a letter to Hogwarts?

This is a dark, bully romance - don’t go expecting a sweet school for magic with friends around every corner. Fae fight for everything they own and Zodiac Academy is a cutthroat school for students aged 18+ where only the strongest prevail. There’s no Dumbledore here to save anyone’s ass, and Lionel Acrux will give Voldemort a run for his money in the evil dictator category. So hold onto your stardust (broomsticks not required) and get ready for a bumpy ride.

Great storyline!

I can't get enough of this series! The storyline is dark but thrilling and the narrator did a fantastic job by having different tones and inflections for each character. Highly recommend!

too much teen angst

Its the drama and behavior of 14 year olds. Very annoying and childish characters. Going to try to listen to book two. Hopefully there with be some substantial plot development. Right now its like a supernatural 90210. XOXO

Kind of... disappointed

This storyline is incredible and has such potential... but it doesn't seem like that potential is going to be fulfilled. I was so excited when I started listening because I'm a Harry Potter fan, since I was kid, and this gave me the same whimsical feeling with adult themes and I was hype for that. However, I was waiting for a payoff that just never comes. I was hoping for more magic lessons. I wanted the twins to get a grip on who they are and #girlboss up. I know this is a "bully romance" but theres no romance and all bully. I can't even like these dudes a little and I do kind of like the girls but even they're a tough pill to swallow sometimes. I really can't get over how such a cool world and an awesome storyline idea got annihilated so terribly. It seriously makes me sad.

So, if you're looking for advice on whether you should listen or not, I'll say this - the performance is great and as long as you don't expect anything incredible like I did, you won't be disappointed with a really cool concept. Just don't expect the satisfaction that comes from reading a book with a solid plot.

Just okay

The writing seemed okay at first but certain parts seemed very juvenile and cringey. Who dance humps the same guy that was dangling her over a cliff earlier in the day? I get it’s a bully thing but the amount of toxic behavior with no recognition by the heroines just seemed very unreasonable and unrealistic. The narrator did fine with female voices but all of her male voices were very robotic and almost laughable. I couldn’t think any of the males were remotely attractive the way she spoke for them.

Amazing story and ending

I love this story and world. That was a amazing action pact ending. Can’t wait to read the next book.
These are my favorite narrators. They do and fantastic job on any book they read. I’m so happy they were chosen to read this series.

Zodiac Academy is a BING worthy series…HP for Adults

Can’t wait until all books are available on Audible. Darcy and Tory Vega are awesome. The Heirs are jerks but will grow on you. This is truly a series and you have to read them in order and there’s no introduction with backstory when you go into the next book in the series.
As of today six books are on Kindle Unlimited but only one is here on Audible. Book 7 is coming in December 2021.

Intense

The bullying is a lot. I feel like this could definitely be triggering for some people. I do really like the storyline though, so I’m going to continue with the series!

4.5 ⭐️ worth the read

Harry Potter meets Faedom. This book was really good. Intriguing the whole way through and makes you want to continue the series right away.

Only downside the twins are kind of naive or clueless in a way that doesn’t make sense for their street smart upbringing. This is a YA series and slow burn at times.

Suspenseful

Great book, but the narrator really brought it all to life. The distinctions between the characters was great. I never had to wonder who was speaking. Great book, lots of mystery and suspense. Ending was decent, what I wanted to happen didn’t, so it’s on to the next book!
