Story
We are seeing more women in the workforce than ever before, but despite reaching high-paying successful positions, women struggle with growing their wealth and maintaining finances. Most of the time, this struggle stems not from the inability to monitor and budget the money; rather, it originates from the lack of education and recourses that are available for young women or women in general. For some, financial education might be Everest, but even the most dangerous mountains can be conquered with the right information, patience, and resilience.

Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

Publisher's summary
Investing in your future is easier than you think—discover how and achieve financial security more quickly than you can possibly imagine
Young adults are especially financially vulnerable because they’re just starting out, want a lot of “stuff,” and are not earning the big bucks yet.
So, they’re borrowing too much and saving too little (if at all), and they’re in a financial mess.
But it doesn’t have to be like that.
Instead, imagine a life where you have peace of mind, because your financial affairs are in order, and you’re on the right path to building wealth.
The trick is to develop the right money mindset, so you can start controlling your money instead of letting your money control you.
Sure, it takes a little time and effort in the beginning, but the reward is lifelong financial security.
In this guide, you’ll discover:
- 10 money habits that will put you on the path to financial security, without having to give up your favorite things
- Why lottery winners go broke—get the right mindset so it won’t happen to you
- How to create a custom budget that works for you and builds wealth
- Alternatives to student loans that won’t get you into debt and still give you an excellent education
- How to let your money work for you, while you enjoy a good night’s sleep
- How to turn bad debt into good debt and use it to build wealth
- The must-know principles when investing in Cryptocurrency
- Five investment mistakes to avoid, so you don’t end up losing your hard-earned savings
- How to save money on your tax bill legally
- The advantages of owning your own business and other income streams that will ensure your financial stability even if you lose your day job
- And much more.

Story
Data is fundamental to the modern world. From economic development, to healthcare, to education and public policy, we rely on numbers to allocate resources and make crucial decisions. But because so much data fails to take into account gender, treating men as the default and women as atypical, bias and discrimination are baked into our systems. And women pay tremendous costs for this bias in time, money, and often with their lives. Celebrated feminist advocate Caroline Criado Perez investigates the shocking root cause of gender inequality and research in Invisible Women.

Years ago, after suffering a humiliatingly large dumb tax, it dawned on me that I have a seemingly unlimited ability to hit unforced errors and sabotage my business and financial success. I suspect you do, too. It turns out that the key to getting rich (and staying that way) is to avoid doing stupid things. I don't need to do more smart things. I just need to make fewer dumb mistakes. The vast majority of our dumb tax is a direct result of emotional, overly optimistic, and poorly thought out decisions.

America's elite have been using cash value life insurance to stockpile wealth for centuries. Used correctly, it is better described as a personal bank on steroids, and a financial bunker for tough times. To be clear, this audiobook is not about the typical garbage peddled by most insurance agents. Rather, an alternative to the risky investment strategies taught by Wall Street. It details a highly efficient form of cash value life insurance designed to supercharge your savings and stockpile wealth.

Most of the time, this struggle stems not from the inability to monitor and budget the money; rather, it originates from the lack of education and recourses that are available for young women or women in general. Great read, not just for young adults
This book is a wonderful resource to give anyone tools to become financially responsible and educated. I especially appreciated the chapter on mindset, as that is truly the root of success in anything--health, career, as well as finances. Learning all of these concepts early, as young adults is so valuable---but truly the concepts can help anyone at any age. Highly recommend!

Must Read For All Young Adults
I highly recommend Financial Literacy for Young Adults Simplified by Raman Keane. This book breaks down financial education in a very easy manner. When I was younger, there was no resources like this available to teach me how to save and manage my money let alone invest it or making it work and grow for me. That’s exactly what is covered in this book.
It even comes with a free accompanying PDF that covers setting SMART goals for building financial strategies. It even provides a template for a personal cash flow statement that will teach you how to use it to your advantage. Buy this book to increase your financial intelligence!!!

As a young adult, financial literacy is crucial for securing a stable and independent future, and this book simplifies complex financial concepts into easily digestible chapters. In Chapter 2, "Your Mindset Matters," I found myself relating to the importance of one's mindset when it comes to money. The audiobook's insights on the psychology of spending and saving resonated with me, reminding me of a time when I had to shift my financial mindset. It's remarkable how a change in perspective can make a significant impact on one's financial well-being. The narration in this book is clear and engaging.
